We've made the decision to transition the Dream Flight fundraiser from an in-person event to an online experience. Over the past several weeks, we’ve been monitoring CDC and Alameda County updates and gathering input from our community. We’ve also been ensuring our health and safety plans are in place while taking steps to minimize the risk of COVID-19 to our Pilot community. As infection rates continue to fluctuate daily, we believe this latest precaution is the right thing for all our stakeholders.
The mission of Dream Flight is to help young people make their dreams take flight and ensure a Saint Joseph Notre Dame education is attainable to ALL. An education that will open doors and move students one step closer to fulfilling their dreams and making a difference in their communities — and we are shaping our online event in the same spirit. For many SJND students, Dream Flight helps them soar above the clouds. Our relentless commitment to supporting our students and families is stronger than ever.
Dream Flight, above the clouds, gives us an opportunity to bring you on board and share with you how your support is changing the way these resilient students learn, cope, and see the world.
While this online event is being produced due to the need for an abundance of caution and care, we’re still excited to share how your support makes a transformational difference in the lives of our students.
Although the October 16th flight has been redirected, we’re excited to debut an SJND “Inflight” viewing experience on Saturday, November 13th, in honor of World Kindness Day.
If you have already purchased your first class seat, no worries. Our team will contact you directly to ask if you want a refund or if you prefer to donate the ticket cost. For every $100 donated, you will receive one entry to win a three day vacation for a Mendocino Getaway Sweepstakes!
