Drum roll please...SJND’s virtual Dream Flight on October 17th was a great success! Thanks to many of you in our Pilot community, we raised $129,000 in support of tuition assistance for our students, support that is needed now more than ever as our families encounter financial hurdles due to the pandemic.
Thank you for the 385 of you who took the leap with us into this virtual event world, overcoming the challenges of technology, and becoming sponsors and making donations. Your perseverance and support is a true testament to your Pilot spirit and we are very grateful.

Guests enjoyed meals delivered from Pappo, Trabocco, Angela’s Kitchen, Little House Cafe and Whisk Cake Creations. The online program included SJND Trivia, campus tours led by Board members Andre Hill ‘72 and Alicia Dlugosh Trost ‘95, a cocktail demonstration by alumni The Duncan Brothers of the 2102 Club and Laurel Lounge (Tony ‘96, Danny ‘00, and Andy ‘03), performances by our SJND Band and One Voice Choir, pop-ins to the homes of Tony Aiello, the Kellys, the DeGranos, and the Polas and a memorable speech by our own student Alazar Hailu ‘21. And we must not forget the man who made the entire evening appear effortless (even though it was not!) our MC Harrison Wilkes ‘03.
SJND parents and grandparents John and Andrea Medulan.
A big thanks goes out to our hosts The Kelly Family, and our fearless Steering Committee members, Paula Marcheschi ‘87, Kerry Plain ‘70, Katie Sacco, and Lauren Pond ‘10 and Alicia Dlugosh Trost ‘95. A list of our amazing sponsors can be found here.
We hope to see everyone who came out to show their support of Dream Flight 2020 in person soon. Go Pilots!
