In March 2020 we entered into a full distance learning scenario to safeguard and protect our community from the Covid-19 pandemic. Since that time we have spent hours in our Covid-19 Operational Task Force meetings and internal planning sessions to adapt our campus and our approach to an ever-changing climate.
We look forward to re-opening safely for in-person learning, as soon as we are permitted to safely do so in partnership with Alameda County and the Diocese of Oakland. Alameda County is currently in the purple tier, the most restrictive tier in our state’s reopening system. This means we are currently unable to hold in person classes, however our plans for re-opening our campus and having students return to in person learning is continuing as planned. The current guidelines stipulate that our county must be off the purple tier for three consecutive weeks and then two additional consecutive weeks in the red tier before in person learning can resume.
On November 30, 2020 we submitted our School Reopening Document which details our safety protocols, strategies, and tentative reopening plan to Alameda County.
