Looking Forward to the 2021/22 School Year
The Covid-19 vaccine continues to be administered and is now available for people aged 16 years old and up. If your student is under 18 years old, you can sign them up here for the vaccination. CDC research states “in-person learning in schools has not been associated with substantial community transmission.” With this in mind and under the guidance of state and county health officials, we believe that re-opening school at full occupancy this fall for in-person instruction is in the best interest of our students’ academic and emotional well being.
We are excited to welcome all of our students back in-person this fall!

Student orientation scheduled for the week of: August 9*
First Day of Classes: August 16

The 2021/22 class schedule and full academic calendar for the year will be shared in the information packet which will be distributed digitally this year in June.
Registration Deadline Approaching
The deadline to register your student for fall is Monday, May 3. On 4/19 you received an email from lrochlin@sjnd.org entitled “SJND 2021-22 Registration” which contains your unique registration code and instructions for how to register. If you have not received this email, please contact Liz Rochlin directly.
We will continue to update you as we finalize our plans for the 2021/22 school year and please be on the lookout for the information packet in June. The past year has been unpredictable, to say the least, and we remain proud of our students, faculty, staff, and community for how we have transitioned, pivoted, overcome, and grown.
